Hans van Gijzen has been an Of Counsel at Pallas Employment Lawyers since 2020.

Hans works in the fields of social enterprise and employee participation law, with a primary focus on Works Councils and European Works Councils, as well as the thereto-pertaining governance and dispute resolution issues in the tripartite relationship between Board of Directors, Supervisory Board and Works Council.

His clients are large companies and a variety of works councils and European works councils.

Hans is a member of the Supervisory Board of Center Parcs Europe N.V. (Pierre et Vacances) and his former positions include:

  • Founder and Managing Partner of Holland Van Gijzen Lawyers and Civil-Law Notaries
  • Member of Ernst & Young’s Management Board & Central European Area Board
